IMPJ Emergency Response: Needs for Recovery After Operation Rising Lion
In the aftermath of the Iranian missiles strike on Israeli cities, the IMPJ has transitioned from immediate emergency response to long-term recovery which requires resources, structure, and your continued support.
Homes are uninhabitable
Families are displaced and missing basic needs
Trauma continues
Reform congregations across the country provided immediate support to the most vulnerable. Our rabbis, educators, and volunteers are continuing to meet the needs of communities across the country.
Your donation will enable the IMPJ to:
- Emergency spiritual care and emotional support in hard-hit cities
- Shelter and relocation for those in unstable or damaged housing
- Keren B’Kavod activities – Continued distribution of supplies, to the most vulnerable populations
- Ongoing support for young adults with cognitive disabilities
- Supplies and support for Ukrainian refugees and Russian immigrants
Community members and families have been directly impacted by these strikes and need assistance. Help us meet these urgent needs and stand strong – for our values, our people, and our shared future.

זה עצוב ובמיוחד מכעיס – הרב הראשי יוסף יצחק יקבל השנה את פרס ישראל לספרות תורנית.
הרב יוסף, שתוקף ומסית נגד ציבורים שלמים בחברה הישראלית – הציבור החילוני, הציבור הרפורמי, יוצאי ברה"מ, בית המשפט העליון ולאחרונה גם האמירה המקוממת על ירידה מהארץ במקום גיוס לצבא.
הרב יוסף, שנציב התלונות על הדיינים טען שצריך להעמיד אותו לדין משמעתי בשל ההתבטאויות שלו ושבג"ץ קבע כי ההתבטאויות שלו לא ראויות ושהסיבה היחידה שהוא לא עומד לדין היא שהוא פורש מתפקידו.
ראוי שהפרס החשוב ביותר בישראל יינתן לאדם שמחבר בין קבוצות בחברה הישראלית ולא למי שבאופן קבוע מפיץ שנאה, תוקף את רוב הציבור בישראל, ואף פוגע ביחסים של ישראל ויהדות התפוצות!
